Graduate Personal Care Assistant - Live-in
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a young adult who is passionate about Film Editing. They are looking for a responsible person to join their care team and assist them in daily living. Join their team of PAs who provide their personal care and living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult's life.
Start: ASAP
Rota: Live in - 7 Days on / 7 Days off
Location: Weston-super- Mare
Pay: GBP200 p/d = GBP1,400 p/w
Free accommodation whilst on shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
A Full UK Driving licence is essential for this position to drive our client's vehicle
About the Job

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
About our Client
Our client is passionate about Film Editing. He uses a wheelchair to get around.
Our client has Friedreich's Ataxia, which mainly affects his balance and mobility but also makes it challenging for him to do day-to-day tasks. He also would like his PA to support him with organising his schedule and supporting his personal fitness plan (Supporting him with his exercises and accompanying him to the gym)
He is looking for a PA who can assist him with a variety of activities including, supporting him to attend events, socialising with his friends and supporting him to lead an independent life as he chooses.

"Hi there, I am Max. I am a legend at being unique and being clumsy! My references: mum, stepdad, Sister - I'm sure they will say anything to embarrass me!
I like socialising and making friends and I want a PA who is flexible and doesn't mind helping me out a lot and can work on their own initiative. The ability to plan ahead is also helpful.
I also like playing chess as I like exercising mentally aswell as physically.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* A full and clean UK driving license (Essential)
* Confident driver as you will be expected to drive the client's vehicle Excellent sense of humour and ability to not take life too seriously (Essential)
* Physical fitness for transfers
* A caring and patient nature
* Flexible and gentle
* Strong of character and morals
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Mature and responsible attitude
* Fluent in English
* Clean and tidy appearance
