R&D Chemist – Mortar, Screed & Cement Products
Location: Commutable to Telford
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + profit share bonus

Role Responsibilities
* Develop, test and support both new and existing products and formulations of mortar, plaster and render.
* Research and test new raw materials and build strong relationships with suppliers.
* Generate Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations using specialist software.
* Assist in Quality Control (QC) testing when required.
* Troubleshoot production issues.
Essential Qualifications
* Proven R&D experience with formulation development.
* Experience with related products such as cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready‑mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemical admixtures, grouts and resins.
* Familiarity with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards.
* Degree level qualification in chemistry or a related field.
* Positive, energetic, confident, driven, organised and personable individual.
