We're looking for a sharp, hands-on Lead Chiller Engineer to run the show out of our Andover depot: leading PPM, smashing complex breakdowns, mentoring the team, and driving best-in-class service for our blue-chip clients.
What you'll actually do (and own):
Lead hands-on PPM, reactive repairs, and fault diagnosis on a diverse fleet of industrial chillers (refrigerant analysis, vibration, advanced controls)
Supervise and develop a small team of site engineers allocate work, review outputs, coach technically
Own client-facing technical updates, risk assessments, method statements, and full F-Gas compliance
Manage spares, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement in safety, efficiency & reliability
Youll thrive here if you have:
Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Current F-Gas Category 1
5+ years solid experience on industrial chillers
Proven supervisory / leadership experience in service or field engineering
Strong electrical skills (3-phase, controls, inverters)
Full UK driving licence
Confidence communicating technical detail to clients
Nice-to-have (big plus):
CO2 systems experience
IOSH / safety quals
BMS integration knowledge
