Proven track record in personal selling and meeting or exceeding sales targets with established reputation in the MHE industry. Needs to understand the overall market place and our strengths and weaknesses in the individual sectors. Has the ability to maximize our opportunities by clear direction, leadership and good commercial understanding/decision making. Job Description Able to demonstrate : Target and profit orientated, tenacious and ambitious. Able to manage remote sales team. Capable of producing strategy/plans/budgets to meet the company objectives. Examples of winning new major account deals with fleet / blue chip customers. Examples of significant growth over a period of time within existing accounts as well as high renewal and retention rates. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES / ACTIVITIES: Lead a team of Major Account Managers and, working with the National Sales Manager, develop the sales strategy and account plans for the Major Accounts Team. Lead the Major Accounts Sales team to achieve all agreed sales target objectives and profitability. Development and maintenance of Major Account customer and prospect contact plans which drive the appropriate sales behaviors which drive sales performance that meets or exceeds agreed targets. Report on Major Account Sales status against planned volume and financial targets, stating corrective measures for areas that fall below the agreed plan requirements. Measure, and redirect where applicable, team members in relation to results regarding all core areas of the Major Account sales strategy. Through regular meetings/discussions with National Sales Manager, actively participate in focusing the company sales strategy and direction to enhance sustainable profit and security. Construction of quality proposals and quotations, using innovative customer focused solutions that also promote and secure additional business. Plan to be interacting with each Major Account Manager on a regular basis to ensure a high level of performance from the team. Working with representatives of Key OEM’s (CAT, Kone, Carer), actively develop and support their International Account / Major Account strategy for the UK. Responding to all sales leads and customer issues with a pace and professionalism that our current customers and targeted prospects would describe as truly first class. Create an excellent working relationship with all other elements of the Impact handling business to ensure a consistent and unified approach is provided to all customers. Ensure that the company’s sales protocol is followed by all team members and the content is the recognised framework of activity. Excellent market awareness and ensure Impact is presented to all target accounts and included on all proposal / tender lists. To promote and deliver a continually improving customer experience. Support and contribute to team based activities aimed at improving overall sales and business performance.
