The Opportunity
The Reward Team is responsible for pay, benefits and global mobility across the Europe Hub. The Compensation & Benefits Advisor will be a pivotal role supporting the development and maintenance of our strategic objectives in both benefits and remuneration. This role is perfect for an experienced benefits advisor looking to build on that experience, as well as expand their knowledge of remuneration in a large, dynamic and innovative organisation.
Duties Include
* Provide informed advice to complex Reward queries from stakeholders across the business, assisting the Reward Advisor where needed.
* Assess current benefits usage and proactively consider and investigate options for innovative new or improved benefits.
* Responsible for implementation (including project management across other LOR teams) of new benefits and Reward policies.
* Develop and maintain relationships with benefit account managers, working with them to consider and improve the benefit offering and communication of the benefits throughout the business.
* Lead the annual benefit renewal, taking ownership of renewal and ongoing communication and benefit information documents.
* Keep abreast with Reward best practice, market and statutory developments and consider the impact these will have on existing policies/practices.
* Assist on job evaluations for new and existing roles, ensuring appropriate job families and levels.
* Assist with pay benchmarking ensuring our salary ranges are competitive to the market.
* Support the successful delivery of the annual salary review, as well as any out-of-cycle processes and early talent programme increases.
Skills and Required Attributes
* Effective communicator (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate confidently and develop relationships with peers across LOR, as well as stakeholders and external providers.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload given variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
* Shows initiative and creativity in solving problems.
* Self-motivated to work independently, as well as be part of a team.
* Has a drive to continually improve processes and procedures.
Technical Capabilities and Experience
* Proven experience (5+ years) within an HR / People function.
* Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel.
* Experience of common employee benefits (such as Private Medical Insurance, Income Protection, Company Cars).
* Comfortable drafting documents in Word and Powerpoint.
* Good awareness of GDPR requirements.
* Knowledge of global mobility requirements desirable.
* Experience in job evaluation processes desirable.
