Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities
* Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to maintain hygiene standards
* Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
* Supporting the kitchen team with organising supplies and ingredients
* Ensuring the cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and equipment throughout shifts
* Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures
* Restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
* Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory
* Experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting is beneficial
* Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic culinary practices is desirable
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued
