Overview
As an Information Assurance Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of our mission to deliver secure, resilient and trusted systems across defence and aerospace. You'll work on a diverse range of projects, each varying in complexity and criticality, supporting the design, integration and assurance of cutting-edge Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems. Day-to-day, you'll be
* Providing high-quality Information Assurance advice and guidance to Systems Engineering and Design teams.
* Producing bid proposals and project Information Assurance deliverables.
* Managing system security accreditation processes and supporting Secure by Design initiatives.
* Conducting technical risk assessments using recognised frameworks.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders across Babcock and external partners including the Ministry of Defence.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 37 hours per week. The role is hybrid, with on-site presence required depending on business needs, based at one of our key locations at either Oakhanger (Hampshire), Ashton Vale (Bristol), or Stoke Gifford (Bristol).

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing IA guidance to systems engineering and design teams, supporting accreditation work, and contributing to Secure by Design initiatives within projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in Information Assurance, risk assessment and accreditation processes.
* Knowledge of recognised IA frameworks and security standards.
* Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Eligibility to obtain SC security clearance.
