Private Client Solicitor/Associate Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a highly regarded Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked Private Client Advisory team based in Chichester, with hybrid working options available. This role offers the chance to work with a collaborative and high-performing team advising high-net-worth individuals and families.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate, you will provide expert guidance to clients on the following areas:
\t
* Legal and tax aspects of estate and succession planning
\t
* Trusts created during a lifetime or by will
\t
* Tax planning, estate administration, and post-death planning
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
\t
* A strong background in advising on and managing complex wills, probate, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorney and estate administration
\t
* Experience in lifetime inheritance tax (IHT) planning and the taxation and administration of trusts
\t
* Exceptional financial discipline and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and external professionals
\t
* Empathy and compassion to guide clients through personal and challenging circumstances
\t
* Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members
\t
* A passion for business development and building client relationships
\t
* Familiarity with the private client markets in West Sussex or Hampshire (desirable, but not essential)
This role is ideally suited to a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with over 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
