Chef Supervisor-Orchards (Mat Cover) Brompton, Northallerton Flexible Hours between 8am and 6pm We now have an opportunity for a Chef Supervisor to join us on a 26 Hour Contract basis. This contract will be for a maternity cover, for an initial period of 6 months. As a not-for-profit organisation we provide a comprehensive range of services to over 6,800 homes, and extra care schemes. With our aim to be the Best Rural Housing Association in the country, we are looking for great people to join us! This position may cover multiple sites so a driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred. Purpose of the Chef Supervisor Role Supporting the Chef Manager by leading and motivating the onsite catering team to deliver the catering and hospitality service in the extra care schemes. Supporting the effective management and control of costs, supplies, inventory, resources, and brand standards. Work closely with the Chef Manager to support and deliver an efficient and cohesive catering and hospitality service across the Broadacres group. About you Our ideal candidate will: * Demonstrable experience of working within the catering industry and supervision of a frontline team. * Ability and experience of supervising a team in the catering industry. * NVQ level 3 in professional cookery. * CIEH Level 2 Certificate or higher in Food Hygiene.
