An exciting opportunity has arisen at this growing Accountancy Practice, which is looking for an Insolvency Assistant Manager to join their London office. They are interested in speaking with those currently at Insolvency Assistant Manager level or those looking to progress from a Senior Insolvency Administrator position.
Role:
1. Reporting to the IP, you will manage cases of various sizes and complexities, including Administrations, CVLs, MVLs, CVAs, and Bankruptcies.
2. Manage case delivery, including pre-appointment, progression, and closure.
3. Liaise with Directors, Shareholders, Creditors, Accountants, Solicitors, and Agents both pre- and post-appointment.
4. Understand key commercial aspects of the insolvent company’s business.
5. Provide regular progress reports to the manager.
6. Prepare documents for board, shareholder, and creditors meetings, and consent procedures.
7. Prepare for and attend creditors' meetings.
8. Manage asset valuation and realisation.
9. Provide recommendations for signoff by the Insolvency Practitioner.
10. Attend clients’ sites to secure premises and/or assets where necessary.
11. Report to IP regularly on case progression and compliance issues.
12. Maintain IPS case diaries and setup.
13. Train and delegate tasks to junior staff.
14. Have a good working knowledge of IPS.
15. Monitor job WIP and costs to budget.
16. Close cases, including preparing final reports, accounts, and statutory filings with the Registrar.
17. Assist with the firm’s marketing activities.

Requirements:
* CPI Qualification would be advantageous.
