We're looking for a Paralegal to join our Private Client team in Newcastle. You'll be supporting fee earners in providing a wide range of legal services and to deliver an exceptional service to our clients. This role will be largely office based.
What will I be doing
* Supporting on a wide range of Private Client matters, ensuring all required documentation is in place.
* Managing, under supervision, straightforward probate matters.
* Assisting with the preparation of Estate Accounts including undertaking bank reconciliations.
* Preparing "first draft" straightforward Wills, and deeds and documents such as Deeds of Retirement, Trustees' Minutes and Resolutions.
* Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney.
* Attending client meetings and dealing with initial inquiries from third parties.
* Undertaking Land Registry searches and legal research.
You'll have
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office and good all-round IT skills
* The ability to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, and manage your time effectively.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
* The ability to adapt your style, be proactive, and effectively solve problems.
* Previous legal work experience would be advantageous but not essential.
