GSL Education are currently working with schools in Sheffield ( S2 and S3) who are seeking experienced and committed SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teachers to support pupils with additional learning needs. This role is ideal for a teacher who is confident in adapting lessons, supporting diverse needs, and creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher: Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual SEN needs Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, and learning difficulties Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Working collaboratively with support staff and external professionals Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly The Ideal SEN Teacher Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach Strong behaviour management and communication skills An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
