Description and Requirements
Lenovo HPC PS team is looking for a seasoned Principal Consultant for Power and Cooling preferably based in Europe-META (UK) to join its Global Professional Services team.

Your Responsibilities :
1. Analyze complex RFP requirements related to facility power and cooling and translate them into feasible IT infrastructure solutions
2. Architect advanced power and cooling designs for air‑cooled and liquid‑cooled IT environments
3. Partner with customers, sales teams, and engineering SMEs to define requirements, success criteria, solution scope, and cost estimates
4. Document solution architectures and review proposals with key internal and external stakeholders
5. Work closely with engineers and developers to ensure tasks, deliverables, and acceptance criteria are clearly understood and met
6. Provide hands-on involvement and engineering guidance during physical installation of complex air- and water‑cooled IT systems
7. Lead vendor coordination and manage third parties delivering components of the overall solution
8. Drive technology decisions (build vs. buy), contribute to product evolution, and stay current with industry standards ASHRAE)
Requirements:
9. Strong background in power/electrical, mechanical, or thermal engineering disciplines
10. Solid understanding of data center power delivery architectures and infrastructure constraints
11. Deep knowledge of data center cooling architectures, heat transfer principles, and thermal management
12. Proven experience acting as a technical consultant and leading engagements in the power and cooling domain
13. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and drive issues to resolution
14. Excellent customer-facing communication, decision-making, and collaboration skills
15. Experience working across multiple organizational functions, partners, and customers
16. Proven ability to develop training materials, documentation, and knowledge bases throughout career.
