Job Overview
We are recruiting a Site Engineer to join our team at the Nash Lee site. In this role you will be responsible on site for other junior engineers, assisting with construction operations, liaising with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to meet standards, programme and budget requirements.
You will work with the setting‑out team, manage the performance and development of junior engineers, identify and resolve technical problems in liaison with the senior team and Sub‑Agent, and monitor subcontractors to ensure contractual compliance. You will also provide the team with current information and resources, and assist with production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, contributing to financial forecasting.
Qualifications
* HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Working towards institute membership (ICE).
* Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities.
* Experience in heavy structures, earthworks or highways and drainage.
* Own transport to attend remote site(s) and full driving licence.
* CSCS card: White, White‑Yellow, Red‑Experienced, Black‑Manager or Gold‑Supervisor.
Clearances
BPSS security clearance will be required.
