Set amongst traditional wooden cabins, visitors can browse a treasure trove of unique and handmade gifts — perfect for stocking fillers and one-of-a-kind presents. Alongside the stalls, guests can enjoy festive bars serving steaming mugs of mulled wine, classic street food, and a lively entertainment stage. A fire pit for toasting marshmallows and a vintage carousel for children add to the charm, making it the perfect place to soak up the festive atmosphere and get into the Christmas spirit.
Job Summary:
The Assistant Bar Manager will support the Catering Manager in overseeing Bar Staff and Cleaning Staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This includes managing staff welfare, handling escalated customer issues, and assisting with cash, stock, and event operations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily welfare and performance of bar and cleaning staff
* Monitor health and safety within the bar areas and public spaces
* Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness
* Assist the Catering Manager with cash operations, including issuing floats and accurate cashing up
* Support the Bar Manager with stock management and minimisation of wastage
* Handle escalated customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
* Act as artist liaison for musicians and performers, ensuring their needs are met
* Maintain effective communication with staff to ensure smooth event operations

* This role may occasionally require an "all hands on deck" approach — applicants must be willing to serve customers directly and assist with carrying stock when required
