Principal People are working with a well-established Aggregates organisation that is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support two of their sites over the next 12 months, located on the Hampshire/Wiltshire borders. The role involves providing operational health and safety support to the business and sites.
This is a flexible, hybrid role requiring coverage at both sites, with occasional work at the Head Office in Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct site health and safety inspections
2. Support ongoing health and safety improvements at sites
3. Assist management teams
4. Update relevant health and safety documentation
5. Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
6. Address any health and safety failings on site
What We Are Looking For:
* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent (minimum qualification)
* Experience in risk management within Construction, Aggregates, Heavy Plant, Quarrying, Waste Management, Engineering, or Logistics
* Experience in managing plant, machinery, and site traffic
* Willingness to work part-time (3 days per week)
* Comfort with working across multiple sites
* Strong communication skills, capable of liaising at all levels
