Residential Care Unit Leader
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to take on the role of Residential Care Unit Leader in our 60-bed nursing and residential care home.
In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring that your team provides the highest level of care, making sure every resident feels happy, healthy, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
* To oversee the day-to-day smooth running of the residential care unit.
* Support the care planning process, actively involving service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
* Ensure the safety and comfort of all residents, whilst encouraging a homely and calm atmosphere.
* Stay updated on emergency procedures, equipment, and legislation.
* Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development.
* Abide by CQC regulations, which includes reporting any breaches or areas of concern.
* Maintain staffing budgets and ensure audit schedules are adhered to.
* Promote high standards of staff performance, care, and support for our residents.
* Ensure that clear and accurate records are maintained and effectively used.
* Work effectively with the General Manager to ensure all KPIs are achieved across the residential care unit.
