Spire Little Aaton Hospital in Sutton Coldfield, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper to join our dynamic and experienced Housekeeping team working on a 30 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Spire Little Aston Hospital is a leading private hospital in the Midlands, offering comprehensive hospital care to patients from Birmingham and the surrounding areas of the West Midlands and Staffordshire. The hospital has an exceptional reputation within a variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Cosmetics, Ophthalmic, Gynaecology, General Surgery & Physiotherapy.
As Housekeeper, you will be responsible to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the all areas of the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct
layout as needed and both offices and public areas are cleanTo work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospitalCompliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHHWho are we looking for?
Whilst no formal qualifications are required you must be able to communicate with other members of staff and patients clearly and your personal appearance must be of a high standard, expected in a professional healthcare environmentExperience of working in a similar role, in a customer facing environmentGood communication skillsAbility to establish rapport with all customersAble to work as part of a teamAbility to work on own initiative and with a methodical approach to workMaintains high standardsAbility to work evenings and possibly some weekendsContract type: 30 hours per week – Permanent contact working 5 days per week on a rota.
