Delivering training into Care Homes
Paying up to £40,000 based on £35,000 salary and £5,000 car + benefits
* £35K Basic Salary, £5K Car Allowance, Contributory Pension and Healthcare Scheme, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
Learning and Development/Training Manager required by HR Careers & Nationwide Recruitment Service (NRS).
PERMANENT, FULL-TIME JOB.
This is a home-based role covering southern regions, involving travel by car to various sites across the West Midlands, with equipment and paraphernalia for training delivery.
Salary c. £40k based on £35k + £5k car allowance
* Responsible for facilitating a flexible program of workshops and coaching for internal stakeholders and employees.
Due to the role's nature, candidates must:
* Hold PTTLS or equivalent qualification in Education and/or Training
* Possess NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or equivalent
* Understand the care sector regulatory environment
* Have training experience, preferably in healthcare
* Be capable of communicating at a senior level
* Experience working in a highly compliant organisation
This role supports learning and development colleagues within health and social care forums, so experience in residential care, nursing homes, or community care is preferred.
The trainer will track, coach, and support in-house L&D colleagues.
In your previous roles, you should have:
* Delivered training directly to delegates
* Managed e-learning and online training systems
* Experience in a CQC environment is advantageous
* Built relationships across teams to deliver L&D effectively
* Advised, supported, and mentored in-house trainers and care home staff
* Analyzed training needs and identified improvements
The ideal candidate must:
* Hold PTTLS or equivalent qualification
* Have NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or higher
* Understand care sector regulations
* Have healthcare training experience
* Be experienced in senior-level communication
* Work in a CQC-led compliant environment
This role suits someone with experience as a training manager, advisor, L&D manager, or similar in care or healthcare settings.
