Trainee Rigger
Location: Southern UK, below the M4 corridor (Plymouth, Exeter, Poole, Southampton, Worthing, Crawley, Salisbury and surrounding areas)

About the Role
We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our Airworks team as Trainee Riggers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be trained to work on critical broadcast and telecoms infrastructure across the UK. You’ll gain technical skills, industry knowledge, and be part of a team that keeps the country connected.
Key Responsibilities
11. After completing the training modules, you will:
12. Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on broadcast antennas, telecom antennas, dishes, and combiner systems.
13. Respond to emergency faults and ensure rapid resolution.
14. Provide specialist advice within your area of expertise.
15. Maintain accurate records and complete inspection templates for asset owners.
16. Deliver efficient bundled activities to maximise team productivity.
17. Supervise third-party access to Arqiva sites.
18. Complete all learning and development requirements on time and to standard.
19. Engage in technical and on-the-job learning to build specialist knowledge.
20. Ensure a safe working environment in line with company policies and CDM regulations.
21. Maintain a strong customer focus in all tasks.
22. Support internal projects and contribute to business growth.
23. Uphold security standards to protect people, data, and assets.
24. Demonstrate flexibility and a consumer-focused mindset.
25. Be willing to travel and work weekends when required.
26. Develop skills to reduce unnecessary site visits and support a varied workload.
27. Promote continuous improvement and high performance.
