YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a Freelance Senior Project Manager to join our team on one of our financial services accounts.
Reporting into the Programme Director and working with the Transformation team and OPMGs specialist Adobe partner, this role supports the rollout of Adobe Workfront across our client’s business and within the agency team. A pivotal role for our financial services client transformation plans, serving as the bridge between technical implementation, stakeholder adoption and process redesign.
A client‑facing role interfacing with the senior client marketing lead and internal Workfront teams, this role would suit a confident, smart, enthusiastic and proactive person with good communication skills. Great at working with everyone in the agency, a people person who can bring everyone together and negotiate to ensure we meet our deliverables.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Project Manager will
* Be responsible for producing project timelines and interdependencies.
* Provide expert delivery and change management skills.
* Coordinate resource and day‑to‑day activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget.
* Constantly monitor and report on project progress, manage and validate change requests as required.
* Pro‑actively identify conflicts, risks and resource gaps and manage these throughout all phases of the project.
* Serve as the primary delivery interface with the relevant clients on projects.
* Recognise and solve potential problems, elevate issues or conflicts to the Programme Director and Transformation Lead and continually evaluate project effectiveness.
Communication and relationship management
* Working in close partnership with the Transformation Leads, constantly communicating and updating on progress.
* Selecting the relevant information to communicate at the relevant time, particularly around flagging risks and potential issues.
* Must feel confident speaking out and taking the lead in project stand‑ups.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Previous experience in a Senior Project Manager role
* Agency experience with exposure to large corporate clients.
* A proven understanding of the agency creative process from brief inception to final delivery.
* Proven understanding of creative production and delivery processes, particularly paid media (display, social, OOH).
* Experience in a structured delivery environment.
* Experience of reviewing and enhancing delivery processes across a broad range of marketing channels.
* Must be a self‑starter and able to drive projects forward, prioritise tasks, be solution‑oriented and ensure deadlines are met.
* Strong organisational and project management skills (scoping, scheduling, project timelines, coordinating project teams, resource planning) as well as attention to detail.
* Comfortable with client liaison and always mindful of managing expectations.
* Good understanding of project governance and change management principles.
* A team player able to work collaboratively and mindful of the needs of others.
