Senior Commercial Insurance Broker | North Manchester | Up to £55,000

Having been established for over 40 years, the group has recently acquired a number of other brokerages, bringing together a collection of reputable brands into the network, and their continued growth means they are now looking for a new Senior Commercial Broker to join their North Manchester office as part of the wider senior team.

The Role
As a Senior Commercial Insurance Broker, you will be helping to drive the business forward by maintaining an existing portfolio of clients as well as developing new clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Working closely with a team of Account Handlers, providing tailored insurance solutions across a range of commercial lines
* Managing an existing portfolio of loyal, long-standing customers and identifying new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, introducers, and marketing
* Understanding your clients' business operations, risk factors, and opportunities to build trusted, lasting relationships
* Dealing with the selling, processing, and administration of new contracts, renewals, and MTA's, and identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within your client base
* Liaising and negotiating with underwriters to identify suitable insurance products for your clients
* Working closely with Directors to drive profitability within the branch, ensuring recommendations align with client needs
* Supporting team members to develop their knowledge and skills
* Handling day-to-day queries and inquiries from clients and insurers
About You
* Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker, either as a Senior Broker, Broking Manager, Branch Manager, or Account Executive - essential
* Ideally, you have an existing client base to help grow the book of business
* Excellent knowledge of multiple commercial insurance products and services
* Experience with Acturis is preferable
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
