Ncounter are supporting a major Defence initiative, and we are looking for a Platform Solution Architect with strong AWS expertise and a track record delivering complex cloud platforms in secure environments. This is a hands-on architecture role suited to someone who can shape technical strategy, guide Agile teams and work confidently with senior customer architects across demanding Defence programmes.
You will help design and lead the delivery of modern cloud platforms that are scalable, resilient and aligned to strict non-functional requirements. You will influence key architectural decisions, collaborate closely with engineering and security teams and ensure delivery teams are working with clear direction. This role suits someone who enjoys solving real world problems, shaping cloud strategy and supporting teams through the entire delivery lifecycle.
You will also encourage continuous improvement, introduce new ideas and support the evolution of platform standards. Strong communication skills are important as you will be working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across supplier and Defence organisations.
