The Sustainable Innovation Lab (SIL) at the Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CHIA) is seeking a part time (0.8 FTE) full-stack software engineer assistant experienced with both front-end and back-end software development. This is an exciting opportunity to support the research and teaching activities at SIL through various projects and modules.The role is fixed term until 31 March 2027 in the first instance. Sustainable Innovation Lab conducts world-leading research to identify, design, and construct pathways to sustainability in the real world. We develop interdisciplinary and innovative approaches to model sustainable behaviours, developing digital technologies, and providing systemic solutions for facilitating sustainable transitions. We work closely with industry and policymakers to co-create the solutions. The successful candidate has a fantastic opportunity to support the research at SIL across projects and teaching activities.
