Who You Are You are a qualified lawyer authorized to conduct litigation, ideally with experience in a local authority setting. Your expertise in adult social care, particularly with court of protection welfare and s.21a challenges, is highly valued. What the job involves This role primarily involves working remotely with minimal office attendance. You will engage in various areas of work including ordinary residence, judicial review (JR), community care advice, panel deputyships, COPDOL paper applications, displacement of nearest relative (NR), and coroners. The position has an initial term of 3 months, which may be renewable, with the possibility of additional weekly hours as workload demands. A full-time commitment of 5 days is preferred, though a 4-day compressed schedule may be considered.
