Summary
We're seeking a Sales Application Engineer for our Engineered Solutions division. In this role, you'll drive the expansion of profitable sales for our Power System products, including Gensets, switchgear, automatic transfer switches, and electronic packaging solutions.
Location
This is a remote role, however, candidates must currently reside within 90 minutes of the Greater Boston area.

Responsibilities
* The majority of the job is Pre-Sales and getting potential customers comfortable with the brand, assisting with design, and convincing them that this is the best solution.
* Once it turns into an Order, it’s turned over to Distribution however, you will still oversee everything to make sure it’s being done.
* You may be working 30-40 projects at a time with about 10+ Key Accounts.
* The job is a combination of Farming and Hunting (looking for other end users who are buying generators).
* You will have the support of Account Managers to manage the day-to-day business of what Distribution is doing.
* Project Management to ensure it’s being built and shipped on time.
* The Channel Team to oversee compliance with Distributors and are trained to sell the product.
Education, Skills, and Experience
* BS Engineering is required.
* 2+ years of Technical Outside Sales experience focusing on Power Gen / Industrial Generators.
* Ability to have technical design conversations with Engineers.
* Strong communication and people skills with the ability to influence buying decisions.
* Ideally experience selling to Hospitals and Healthcare facilities, Water/Wastewater Treatment facilities, and Data Centers.
