Site Services Team Leader - Engineering
£55,000 | Monday-Friday | Daytime hours
We're seeking a hands-on Site Services Team Leader to supervise a small engineering team responsible for critical site infrastructure. You'll lead and coordinate maintenance across boilers, refrigeration, utilities, air handling systems, pipework, and effluent plant, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the Site Services team to complete daily tasks and PPMs
Monitor performance, report KPIs, and escalate issues
Manage contractors, permits, and compliance checks
Maintain plant rooms and equipment to top standards
Drive team development and share technical knowledge
Skills & Experience:
Proven team leadership in a maintenance/engineering environment
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, ideally in manufacturing/FMCG
Experience with chilled plant or utility systems preferred
IT literate; experience with maintenance systems advantageous
Proactive, organised, and results-driven
Qualifications:
BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme)
Asbestos Awareness
Refrigeration plant experience
