Experienced Disability Support Workers – Complex Care & Complex Behaviours
LOCATION: Liverpool, Bankstown, Hurstville & Surrounding Suburbs (In-home support)

About the Role
Responsibilities
* Providing high-quality, person-centered support to clients with complex care, complex behaviors, autism, acquired brain injury (ABI), mental health conditions, to name a few. You’ll work closely with individuals in their own homes to enhance their independence, quality of life, and community participation.
* Supporting with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication support
* Assisting with bowel care, stoma care, PEG feeding & urinary catheter support
* Providing transportation for appointments, shopping, and social activities
* Implementing positive behavior support strategies to manage complex behaviors
* Supporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals, promoting inclusion and empowerment
Qualifications
* Minimum of 1+ years of experience in disability support, specifically working with complex care and challenging behaviors
* Certificate IV in Disability Support, Aged Care, or Community Services (preferred)
* Background in mental health, intellectual disabilities, and high-support needs
* Trained in restrictive practices, positive behavior support (PBS), and trauma-informed care
* Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
* Current Australian driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
