What you need (non-negotiables)
Proven Google Shopping campaign experience - youve actively managed and optimised shopping campaigns
Google Merchant Centre feed management - this is essential, not a nice-to-have
E-commerce background - search AND shopping experience in a retail/DTC environment
Strong analytical skills - you know what the data means and can act on it
Comfortable reporting to stakeholders clearly and confidently
Genuine commitment to PPC - youre not looking to pivot to paid social or do a bit of everything
Bonus points: Bing Ads, PMax, YouTube campaigns, scripting/automation experience, subscription brand background
This is hands-on paid search execution - youll own day-to-day Google Ads (search & shopping) and feed optimisation while collaborating with your manager on broader strategy.
