Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a maintenance technician ideally with plumbing experience with a commercial/industrial bias.
The role will involve carrying out Small Projects, Planned Preventative Maintenance, and Reactive Activities in accordance with our contractual agreements. You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, 45 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis. Duties:
* Experience of groundworks, particularly drainage and small plumbing works.
* Support the delivery of small projects across the site.
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance following the company’s PPM and task schedules to meet contractual needs.
* Carry out works professionally and proactively.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and managers.
* Attend team meetings/briefings and relevant training courses.
* Adhere to Health and Safety Procedures and Protocols, including Permit to Work and Safe Systems of Work.
* Escalate major site issues or incidents to your line manager promptly.
* Assist in managing subcontractors on site.
* Be flexible in your working hours to adapt to issues in a busy regional shopping centre.
* Work collaboratively across all hard services disciplines and adapt to daily tasks.
* Support workload by performing internal and external painting and decorating as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Awareness of Health & Safety standards.
* Good understanding of Fabric/Building Maintenance in line with SFG20.
* IPAF/PASMA certification is advantageous.
* Emergency First Aid at Work certification.
* Valid driving license is essential.
