Since 2009 Kingsway have successfully established themselves as market leaders in anti-ligature technology serving EMEA, North America and Asia & Pacific markets demonstrating year on year growth.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing Kingsway Group’s strategy in the Custodial market. The role will involve identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring Kingsway is positioned as the partner of choice across the UK and Ireland.
Strategic Development:
* Develop and implement targeted business strategies to grow Kingsway Group’s presence in the Custodial market.
* Collaborate with Marketing and other internal departments to elevate brand awareness and strengthen market positioning.
New Business Acquisition:
* Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through proactive market engagement.
* Lead the end-to-end sales process including client engagement, proposal development, and closing in collaboration with the sales team.
Revenue Growth:
* Drive and deliver revenue growth in line with agreed business targets and KPIs.
* Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and commercial opportunities.
* Lead on tender responses and framework submissions specific to the Custodial sector.
* Ensure submissions are compelling, competitive, and aligned with client requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers including:
* Architects
* General Contractors
Requirements
* Proven experience in business development or sales within the Custodial, Construction, or related sectors
* Strong understanding of public sector procurement and tendering processes
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering results
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Proven & consistent track record in achieving and exceeding targets
* Experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including government bodies and architectural practices
Tasks
* Maintain an accurate representation on all activities and opportunities on Salesforce (CRM)
* Domestic and International travel may be required to meet and exceed customer requirements
* (Full driving licence required)
* Attend internal meetings as and when required
* Complete relevant reporting requirements
* Be expected to frequently enter mental health and custodial/prison environment
* Attend industry exhibitions and represent Kingsway Group
