What you’ll be doing… As a Head Chef you will be proactively managing and supporting a catering team as well as creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence. Strong IT skills, including accurate entry and management of weekly production and waste tracking data to support cost control and operational efficiency. Proactive management of the kitchen team, including recruitment, training, support, and ongoing people development to deliver an efficient, high-quality service in line with Elior UK standards. Accountable for ensuring that all aspects of the Elior experience are clearly communicated and embedded within the team, supporting the Service Champion where appropriate. Responsible for maintaining effective team communication, building strong internal and external relationships, producing management reports, and liaising with clients to drive operational excellence. Accountable for maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stock within budget, using data insights to minimise waste and maximise value. Responsible for innovative menu planning and food service design within specified budgets, ensuring high standards of food presentation, portion control, and quality. Creates a platform for financial growth through effective cost control, waste reduction, and culinary excellence. Accountable for compliance with COSHH, Food Safety, Health & Safety, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to both customers and colleagues.
