Position: EHS Advisor

Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

We are supporting a leading offshore renewable energy project with the recruitment of an experienced EHS Advisor. This role is based offshore on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV), working on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, promoting a proactive safety culture, and acting as the key point of contact for all EHS-related matters onboard.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary EHS contact on the vessel, supporting all personnel onboard.
* Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across operations.
* Ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation, project standards, and company policies.
* Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and carry out safety observations (STOPs).
* Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments for offshore operations (e.g., turbine maintenance, crew transfers).
* Assist in developing and reviewing risk assessments, RAMS, and permit-to-work systems.
* Support incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
* Collaborate with vessel crew, client representatives, contractors, and subcontractors on EHS issues.
* Participate in emergency drills and ensure offshore preparedness.
* Deliver onboarding and EHS inductions for new personnel.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and EHS project reviews.
Candidate Profile
* Proven offshore EHS / HSE Advisor experience, ideally within renewable energy or offshore vessel operations.
* Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Ability to influence and promote a safety-first mindset across diverse teams.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
