We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Cat C driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made on time while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for driving and delivering exceptional service.
Delivering to multiple loads of concrete products throughout Yorkshire & Lancashire and surrounding areas, using a vehicle with a mounted crane and brick grab.
You will be responsible for the general housekeeping of your company equipment, including your own vehicle. In return we will offer a competitive hourly rate, guaranteed 48 hours with regular overtime available (paid at time and a half) and a discretionary drivers bonus scheme paid twice annually.
Weekly pay
Monday - Friday, Saturday working as and when required on a rota basis with an enhanced hourly rate.
An experienced HGV C drivers with an up to date ALLMI category, C5 crane licence is desirable, however crane training could be offered to the right candidate without crane experience.
Operate HGV Cat C vehicles, primarily flatbed lorries, to transport goods to various locations.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any issues.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients.
Proven experience as a driver or in commercial driving is essential.
A valid HGV Cat C licence is required.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.
