Job Title: Office Manager / Office Administrator

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum plus benefits

Location: Cranleigh, Surrey

This is a newly created and unique role reporting to the UK Sales Director. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of our UK office and sales administration, acting as a key interface with customers, couriers, warehousing, and distribution. The role involves constant communication with our Head Office and manufacturing plant in Southeast Europe. It requires focus, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with the Sales Director and the wider overseas team. There is potential for flexible working hours and some remote work after a successful probation period.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities

* Manage our database and customer records
* Ensure systems and records are accurate and up to date
* Plan and organise logistics for product and sample delivery from factory to customer via UK warehouse and distribution hubs
* Interface with customers, handle enquiries, draft quotes, and process orders
* Place orders with the factory
* Handle calls and emails, and carry out necessary actions
* Forecast and control stock levels
* Continuously seek process improvements to maximise efficiency


Qualifications and Experience

* Experience in a busy administrative role
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
* Highly organised and detail-oriented
* Proactive and self-motivated
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with a team


Salary and Benefits

Up to £35,000; NEST Pension; On-site parking; 28 days annual leave (including statutory holidays); Hybrid working after probation; Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility; Full-time role with options for reduced hours (minimum 30 hours/week); Office based in Cranleigh with potential for remote work post-probation.
