Bank Neonatal Staff Nurse

To provide a fully integrated nursing service in the Acute and Community sectors, working in partnership to provide a high quality sustainable service for Neonates and their carers within Cwm Taf University Health Board.
Welsh and English speakers are both equally welcome to apply.
Job responsibilities
* Ensure the highest standard of specialist patient care, reflecting the quality of standards and mission of the Health Board.
* Contribute to the implementation of policies and procedures within the sphere of responsibility.
* Carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for babies and their carers in accordance with agreed protocols.
* Collaborate with the nursing team across Princess of Wales Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital.
* Provide care as a Bank worker for Band 5 staff nurses in the specialty of neonates.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications / Training
* Registered Nurse / Child Health Nurse
* Relevant Diploma / Basic Degree
Experience
* Suitable for a newly qualified nurse / child branch nurse
* Some post-registration experience would be an advantage e.g. working with families
Skills
* Ability to enter into a learning environment.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
* Team player.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of national issues within nursing.

Salary
£32,557 to £39,631 a year, Pro Rata, per annum.
