Description
• All aspects of furniture finishing from sanding to spraying kitchen furniture.
• Identify, select and use the appropriate tools and materials for furniture finishing.
• Tools and equipment use, once trained.
• Identify and report issues relating to quality, quantity, specifications, workload, equipment, plans and deadlines.
• Health and Safety requirements are being adhered to.
• Housekeeping of your work area.
• Read specific processing instructions.
• Many aspects of general furniture manufacturing.
Requirements
• Reliable punctual and trustworthy,
• Willingness to learn and expand their knowledge in the furniture industry.
• Taking pride in their work is essential.
• A maths qualification would be desirable
• Plenty of scope for promotion and turning the apprenticeship into a career.
