This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with proven Machine Operative experience. Key Responsibilities: CNC Operation & Machine Setup: Operate and set CNC machines, ensuring they are properly calibrated for machining tasks. Assist colleagues in CNC operation and best practises, ensuring all equipment runs efficiently and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Machine Maintenance & Equipment Setup: Set up and maintain various machines, including the Anderson, 1525, Multi-Pro, Logic, and Spindle. Conduct routine servicing such as replacing blades and belts and maintaining machining surfaces to minimise downtime and optimise productivity. Material Handling & Logistics: Coordinate with forklift drivers to ensure a steady flow of raw materials for machining. Assist in wrapping and preparing completed jobs for despatch, and operate forklifts when required, particularly during staff shortages.
