Role Description
Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role combines patient care and commercial responsibilities. The role requires a strong leader passionate about healthcare, patient safety, and business profitability. Responsibilities include delivering pharmacy targets, managing the store pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues, and supporting Asda Pharmacy's reputation as a leader in the industry.
Daily tasks involve leading, coaching, and developing the pharmacy team to provide excellent patient experiences, ensuring high standards of patient safety, and maintaining compliance with GPhC standards and clinical governance.
The role offers support from in-store, regional, and head office teams for clinical and service-related queries.
Rota Schedule
Week 1: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat 9am-8pm
Week 2: Mon/Tues/Thurs 9am-8pm
Candidate Profile
We seek a dedicated, experienced pharmacist registered with the GPhC, capable of delivering NHS and private healthcare services, balancing management and clinical duties, inspiring teams, and handling challenging situations effectively. Applicants must possess a valid GPhC registration, right to work in the UK, safeguarding qualifications, and be willing to undergo a DBS check.
