This is a casual role, with flexible hours. We work flexibly across the week with hours to suit your needs. Sense isoffering you an hourly rate of £11.75.
As a Casual Community Support Worker/ Communicator Guides you will join our fantastic Community Service located across South Wales. We are particularly interested in applicants who can work in Bridgend, Carmarthenshire, Cardiff or Newport .
The service hours are between Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm occasional evening and weekends may be required. We are able to be flexible with shifts so would love to discuss your options and hear from you!
Our fantastic Community Service, supports over 50 clients with sensory impairments to maintain independence and carry out activities that are important to them. You will work alongside a manager and a dedicated team at Sense to provide support which can include helping clients with their weekly shopping, taking exercise or attending local groups.
You may have cared for a family member in the past, and felt the reward? Or be a genuinely caring person looking to help positively impact an Individual's life?
A Full UK License with use of your own vehicle and business insurance is essential to be able to transport clients to activities to maintain independence.
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:

7. A full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle are essential

9. Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties is beneficial.

10. Within their home, and within the community.
11. To provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.

13. Finances.
14. Appointments
15. Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
16. Their social life
