As our Southampton office continues to grow, colleagues are expected to travel on a semi-frequent basis to our established Poole office to deepen their knowledge, strengthen relationships, and align with existing processes. What you'll be doing day to day Assisting in the planning and execution of statutory audits for corporate clients Taking ownership of smaller audit assignments or supporting larger engagements Working closely with the audit team to ensure procedures are followed Supporting managers and assistant managers on technical and client-facing tasks Supervising and guiding junior team members Developing strong working relationships with clients Communicating effectively to ensure a smooth audit process Preparing audit documentation for review Raising technical or client-specific issues and suggesting solutions About you ACA or ACCA part-qualified, with relevant audit experience Experience in statutory audit within a professional practice Exposure to group audits and consolidated financial statements is a plus Full clean driving licence and access to a car Well-organised and able to manage time independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional and client-focused Familiar with automated audit software and digital accounting platforms Why work at PKF Francis Clark As the largest firm of independent chartered accountants and business advisers in South West England, PKF Francis Clark offers a wide range of opportunities to develop your career in the way that’s right for you.
