A reputable construction and refurbishment company based in Manchester is seeking a qualified and experienced Painter with either SSSTS or SMSTS certification to join our growing team on an ongoing project. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on a leadership role on site while still being hands-on with high-quality painting and finishing work. Key Responsibilities: Carry out painting and decorating duties to a high standard on residential and commercial sites. Oversee small teams or sub-contractors as needed. Ensure all site work complies with health and safety regulations. Liaise with site management and contractors to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area. Conduct basic reporting and paperwork related to site supervision. Requirements: Valid SSSTS or SMSTS qualification. Proven experience in painting and decorating (NVQ Level 2/3 or time-served). CSCS Card (preferred). Own tools and PPE. Ability to read drawings/specs and work unsupervised. Strong communication and leadership skills. Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
