Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £90–£100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30pm
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, adapting learning to individual needs
* Assist in delivering EHCPs, IEPs, and behaviour support plans
* Promote inclusion, independence, and positive social interaction
* Support emotional wellbeing, communication, and behaviour regulation
* Work closely with teachers, the SENCo, and wider support staff
We’re Looking For:
* Previous SEND experience (desirable but not essential)
* Transferable experience (e.g. care work, youth work, psychology, family SEND experience)
* A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A genuine desire to learn and develop within education
