Bar Person - Luxury Hotel in Edinburgh
We are looking for a Bar Person to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone with previous bar and food & beverage experience within a luxury environment with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail who enjoys delivering personalised service to guests. This position reports into the F&B Operations Manager, Head Barman & Lounge Manager.

Working pattern: Shift work 5 days on 2 days off

Key Responsibilities of a Bar Person:
* Ensuring the bar area and surrounding tables are always set to the highest standards and remain clean and well-organised.
* Make menu recommendations, answer questions and share additional information with guests.
* Working across all areas of the bar, providing a smooth and efficient service throughout.
* Take accurate food & beverage orders as and when required to the correct standards, up-selling additional products where appropriate.
* Prepare bills and collect payments for guests as required.
* Assist and work in all food & beverage areas as required by the needs of the business.
* Ensure all restaurant equipment is cleaned, polished and stored correctly.
* Ensure a high level of communication is maintained between the kitchen and other staff to ensure excellent food service.

* Previous bar experience in a bartending or similar role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
* Exceptional communication skills, both with guests and colleagues.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of service.
* A positive and energetic attitude, with a passion for hospitality and guest service.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
