Overview
To provide support to service users at Wigan Talking Therapies, which is a Talking Therapy service within GMMH. Supporting qualified clinicians within the service you will play a role in aiding the delivery of low intensity interventions. You will have a responsibility of co-facilitating wellbeing courses alongside a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and will take a leading role in the administrative duties for the groups.
Responsibilities
* To engage with service users, such as having conversations, co-facilitating wellbeing courses, inputting data and recording clinical notes.
* Arrange the bookings for wellbeing groups and contact service users to arrange their place on these.
* Be responsible for screening referrals into the service and liaising with Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners regarding any referrals which need contacting for risk management.
* To engage in promotional activities and attend community events and external services to discuss pathways into Talking Therapies.
* To support clinicians with data entry and support the performance team with correcting incorrect entries each week.
* The post holder will be able to respond flexibly to the needs of service users and the needs of the service.
* Update PCMIS and Parisdatabase to record information and complete progress notes about service users, when consent has been agreed.
