We are seeking a motivated and committed Housekeeper with excellent time management skills to join our team in Trafford theatres. The role involves coordinating all support services within the theatre department to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities include:
1. Adhering to maintenance schedules and conforming to Health and Safety standards using policy and risk assessments.
2. Collaborating with theatre practitioners and domestic staff to maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
3. Supervising domestic staff to ensure cleaning standards are met.
4. Ordering stores and equipment, and coordinating stock levels.
5. Assisting with the patient experience tracker and quality improvement initiatives.
6. Providing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and working within a team to develop services.
7. Spot cleaning and swift spillages management.
8. Ensuring equipment is clean, serviced, and ready for use.
9. Maintaining theatre appearance by removing clutter, cleaning notice boards, signage, and moving light furniture.
10. Liaising with other departments as needed.
11. Establishing and maintaining cleaning schedules for non-clinical items.
12. Daily checks of changing rooms and staff coffee areas.
13. Attending service meetings and communicating relevant information to theatre leads.
14. Acting as the safety champion for the department and ensuring safety checks are completed.
