Permanent vacancy - Contracts Manager (Civils/Road/Grounds work)
Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
Location - Kirkintilloch
Our client based in Kirkintilloch is looking for a Contracts Manager with a Civils or road/Grounds work background to join their busy team. We are looking for experience so that you can run with this role to the highest of standard. Ideally, we are looking for someone with drive and ambition who is looking for a long-time career. Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing, motivating and communicating to site teams on multiple projects
2. Cost control of projects, minimising costs and maximising production
3. Liaising with Estimating and Surveying Departments to ensure commercial viability of projects
4. Taking an active role in Chain Management Initiative to ensure relationships are developed with subcontractors
5. Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements
6. You will be able to combine strong commercial acumen with well-developed interpersonal, problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience delivering large projects/programmes of work
