Job Description
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to support our UK factory operations at our Hemel Hempstead headquarters. You’ll work collaboratively across Order Management, Production, and Materials Management, as well as with key suppliers, ensuring smooth production flow and on-time delivery to customers worldwide.
What You’ll Do
* Manage Sales Orders: Accurately process internal and external Sales Orders using SAP, coordinating with the factory to ensure efficient flow of goods.
* Support Production Planning: Partner with the Lead Production Planner to maintain daily production flow and assist with planning activities on the shop floor.
* Assist Purchasing Activities: Work alongside the Materials Manager to support weekly procurement tasks and maintain optimal inventory levels.
* Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance, review purchase orders weekly, and escalate potential delays or shortages.
* Trade & Compliance: Ensure all export/import documentation (EUCs, licenses, credit terms) are in place before equipment shipment.
* Communication & Coordination: Track order progress, update SAP records, and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve issues proactively.
* Continuous Improvement: Support KPI reporting and ad-hoc operational initiatives across the Supply Chain function.
Qualifications
About You
* Experience in supply chain coordination, production, or order management within a manufacturing or operations environment.
* Understanding of purchase orders and vendor management processes.
* High level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* ERP experience is essential – proficiency in SAP is highly desirable.
* A collaborative team player who can communicate effectively across departments and with suppliers.
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable supporting hands-on operational tasks.
* Strong attention to detail is essential.
