Director of Primary Inclusion required asap or January 2025 for preferred candidates
Do you have the skills and passion to develop inclusion provision across our four Trust primary schools? Would you like to be part of the Executive Team that shapes our ambitious strategic agenda to improve outcomes for each, individual pupil across our community?
We are a group of highly inclusive schools, working together in Harlow as part of The Passmores Cooperative Learning Community. This exciting new post, created as part of our growth, is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring practitioner to play a pivotal role in the leadership and development of the primary schools within PCLC. You will work closely with our CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Primary SLTs, along with your team of SENCOs, assistant SENCOs, and Inclusion Managers, to champion effective inclusive provision across our four primaries.
We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record of improving outcomes for key groups of learners, who is ready for the next step in their career progression. The Successful Candidate Will
* Be a strategic thinker and inspirational leader
* Be effective in initiating new approaches to collaborative working
* Be an experienced primary school practitioner, who has successfully led and developed provision in one or more schools
* Be passionate about supporting all children including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and those who speak English as an additional language (EAL) to achieve and succeed
* Have a good understanding of different aspects of SEND, and good knowledge of the SEN code of practice
* Have an interest in current educational issues, recent developments, and significant legislative changes in this area
* Have some experience of curriculum and policy development in relation to inclusion, as well as training, developing, and supporting other staff
* Be a positive, proactive, collaborative person with great interpersonal skills, who works and communicates well with children and adults
Hours and Salary
* 32.5 hours per week
* 52.14 weeks per year
* Salary: Leadership Point 1 - Point 10 (according to experience)
