We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Porter/Fryer to join our friendly team. You'll play a key role behind the scenes, helping us keep the kitchen running smoothly during our busy service periods. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance their career in the culinary field, particularly within restaurants or hotels.
Responsibilities
* Operate the fryer - full training will be provided.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
* Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Keeping kitchen areas clean and sanitised
* Helping chefs with basic prep tasks when needed
* Taking out bins and maintaining hygiene standards
* Supporting the team with end-of-shift clean-down
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
What we're looking for:
A team player with a good work ethic. Someone reliable, punctual and able to work evenings and weekends. No previous experience required — just a great attitude and willingness to learn.
